Zorro DVD complete series collection with all episodes and seasons on DVDs
Zorro is an American adventure TV series cartoon, by Walt Disney Productions, which aired on NBC from 1957 to 1959, totaling 78 episodes. Ever since their first successful animation movies and TV series, Walt Disney understood that, besides cinema, they must also take over all mass media, by editing comic magazines with their cartoon heroes. The first magazines of this kind were published in the 30’s in America. Even though many collaborators were skeptical in the beginning, time has proven that Disney Productions were right once more. The magazines have both stories with the most loved characters, such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, and also film adaptations of animated stories with less important but realistic characters, and comic series, like Zorro or Spin & Marty.
Don Diego de la Vega comes back home, after several years of study in Spain to his parents estate in California. In his absence, the governor and the army, under the direction of Commander Raymond, began to terrorize the population to their advantage. Diego decides to use his fighter and swordsman skills to fight against injustice. In order not to be recognized, he wears a mask to hide his face and chooses to make his alter ego known under the name Zorro. He also adopts a different personality in front of others from his day to day life, appearing as a coward and lazy character, who lives on his father's money.
Bernando, an orphan who saved Diego many years ago and who helps in the household, recognizes his disguise and helps him on many occasions, also wearing a mask and taking the name of Little Zorro. Not only Diego confronts Commander Daniel on the battlefield, but also in order to gain Lolita’s love. Even though Lolita had been in love with Gabriel in the past, she feels that he has let her down with his lack of courage and feels attracted to Diego instead. Don Alejandro de la Vega is Diego’s father. At the age of 48 years, Don Alejandro seems like a tough and confident man, but he is in fact a very good person. He suspects from the start that Diego is Zorro, despite Diego’s efforts to conceal it.
