Young Indiana Jones DVD complete series collection with all episodes and seasons on DVDs
Dr. Henry Walton Jones, Jr., also known as Indiana Jones or Indy, is a fictional adventurer, a professor of history and archeology, and the main character of the Indiana Jones franchise. George Lucas created the character as a tribute to the heroes of action movie serials of the '30s. Indiana Jones first appears on the big screen in the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark (Indiana Jones: The Search for the Lost Ark) in 1981. The film was followed by Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom) in 1984, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) in 1989, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles (Young Indiana Jones Chronicles) of 1992 to 1996, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) in 2008. In addition to appearances in film and television series, Indiana Jones also appears as a character of books, comics, video games and other media. Also Tokyo DisneySea and Disneyland have themed attractions that include Indiana Jones.
The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles (The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones) is an American TV series that aired from 1992 to 1996. The series depicts the childhood and adolescence of a boy called Indiana Jones, played by Sean Patrick Flanery and then the actor George Hall plays an older version of Indiana. Other actors get to play Indiana Jones’ role throughout the series, including Corey Carrier and Harrison Ford. The series was canceled in 1996, yet 4 more movies appeared after that and continued the action. The scenario was written by George Lucas, who also directed the series. Lucas had written complex notes on his character’s life, including dates and names, all in chronological order and the role of each character throughout the whole series. He initially planned a 70-stories series, but it was eventually reduced to only 31. George Lucas became fond of the idea of crystal skulls and he planned a whole episode in the third series in which Indiana Jones and his friends were going to look for such an item.
